Supported by the philanthropic investment of the New York Life Foundation, Girl Scouts of the USA will launch the Cadette Welcome Project, an interactive event that will welcome girls transitioning to become middle school Girl Scouts. A playbook will be designed to provide a research-based framework for engaging experiences that councils can use to host events that meet the needs of their local communities. The playbook will address new enhanced steps in the Girl Scouts’ strategy of supporting and respecting the uniqueness of girls as they progress through middle and high school.
