NEW YORK (March 24, 2025)—Today, Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) is thrilled to announce the circulation of the United States Mint’s Juliette Gordon Low quarter. Featuring the iconic trefoil, the 1920s Girl Scout uniform, and two prestigious Girl Scout awards, the quarter honors Juliette Gordon Low’s enduring impact on the Girl Scout Movement and her legacy, which now includes 50 million alums.
Now available nationwide, the coin is part of the fourth and final year of the American Women Quarters™ Program and is being produced in limited quantities for a limited time. Those looking to get their hands on the commemorative coin can purchase the quarter in bags, rolls, or collectors’ edition sets directly from the U.S. Mint at catalog.usmint.gov. The coins may appear in your change starting this month. Additionally, JGL commemorative merchandise is available for purchase on the Girl Scout Shop.
“This is a tremendous honor for Juliette Gordon Low and the Girl Scout Movement,” said GSUSA CEO Bonnie Barczykowski. “This commemorative quarter celebrates our highly esteemed founder and the millions of Girl Scouts—past, present and future—who make our world a better place by living out the vision she set forth."
