The Girl Scout Climate program, which includes the Girl Scout Climate Challenge and the Girl Scout Tree Promise, provides girls with an opportunity to take action on climate change and social justice in their communities. The Girl Scout Climate program also aligns with the AME Church’s climate change resolution and the Association of African Methodist Episcopal Scouts (AAMES) goal of providing STEM learning opportunities.
Our goal is to equip AME churches across the country with the necessary tools to build partnerships with their local Girl Scout councils to implement the Girl Scout Climate program. The resources below will help AME church leaders collaborate with local Girl Scouts to host successful programs and events for all families.
Share your success! Please let GSUSA know how your congregation(s) participated in the Girl Scout Climate program by completing this quick survey.
