Your sales numbers are key to knowing if you’re meeting your goals and identifying areas where you can improve.
Activity:
Create a chart (on paper or online) to track sales in different ways. For example, you may want to keep a log of daily sales that includes a note about the weather on each day; it will help you figure out how rain or cold affects your sales. You could even track sales by the hour to see what time of day is best for sales. Or track sales by neighborhood or cookie booth location to see if you sell more cookies in certain areas.
Don’t forget to track your Digital Cookie® or Smart Cookie® sales too. See if you notice any patterns with your online sales. At the end of cookie season, discuss with your troop how you could use what you’ve learned to increase business next year. Here are some questions you may want to ask yourself:
