Peace First Prize
Award:
The top ten winners receive a $25,000, two-year Fellowship which can be used to 1. Contribute to the winner's education and professional development, and/or 2. Support the winner's ongoing peacemaking work. Winners also participate in a 2-year fellowship group of peacemaking leaders; leadership development program; mentoring and opportunities to actively engage in Peace First 's mission and work through participation in national and local peace initiatives.
Requirements:
Citizens or legal residents of the United States who are between the ages of 8 and 22 years old, who have undertaken projects in the United States that are well underway, ongoing, or have already taken place. Peacemaker projects should reflect Prize criteria which include: evidence of compassion (understanding and caring about other people), courage (taking risks to help others), and collaborative change (working with others to improve schools and communities).
Peace First Challenge
Award:
The Peace First Challenge is a global call-to-action to all young people to join a community of peacemakers dedicated to finding compassionate solutions to the world's problems. When you accept the Peace First Challenge, you are invited to develop your own peacemaking project addressing an injustice you care about, and Peace First will support you by providing you with tools and skills, investing in your ideas and sharing your stories and impact with the world.
Requirements:
Citizens or legal residents of the United States who are between the ages of 13 and 25 years-old are eligible to join the US Challenge. Additionally, to be eligible to receive a mini-grant, users will have to form a team. Teams will need to register, choose an injustice, submit a suggested solution they want to implement and a plan on how they want to do it. When your team submits the plan, you will indicate how much money you would like to request and what you can provide in terms of in-kind resources.

Crutchfield-Healy Scholarship
Award:
The Joseph P. and Lotus Crutchfield-Healy Memorial Scholarship was established in July 1998 by their daughter Kathy Healy-Justice, a long-time Girl Scout volunteer in Susanville. The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize the accomplishment of a Senior Girl Scout earning her Gold Award and to encourage her pursuit of a four-year college or university education. Girl Scout Scholarship
Award:
The Indiana Women’s Education Foundation Girl Scout Scholarship is presented to a woman who is between her senior year in high school and her senior year in college and who has applied or is attending to a post-secondary institution for at least part-time attendance. This scholarship is only available to a Girl Scout who has completed the BPW patch and who has been an Indiana resident for at least one year prior to the date of the application. Preference will be given to a student attending an Indiana school. Reapplication is required each year. Incomplete applications will be declined. The recipient will be notified by mail. Scholarship awards will be paid to the recipient’s school.

Award:
The CPCU-Lawrence “Larry” Frazier Memorial Scholarship was established in 1998 by the Nebraska Chapter Charter Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU). Larry Frazier was a well-respected and admired man, and was well-known in Lincoln and throughout the insurance industry nationwide. He distinguished himself and the insurance field throughout his illustrious career and involvement in various community and industry organizations. This scholarship ensures that Larry’s memory as an excellent businessman and human being will live on forever.
Requirements:
To apply, you must be a current graduating senior or a former graduate of a high school in Nebraska; demonstrate academic success in high school studies and must possess the ability to do post-secondary work in a satisfactory manner; be pursuing full-time undergraduate studies at a two year or four year college or university in Nebraska. It is preferred that applicant intends to pursue a career in the field of aviation, insurance, or law. It is further preferred that applicant have experience in debate and participated in Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts during his/her youth. The applicant must demonstrate financial need, maintain a desire to succeed and must contribute financially to his/her own education.

Arizona Elk Society Annual Youth Scholarships
Award:
The Arizona Elk Society has chosen to provide scholarships to High School Seniors and College students. The AES desires to support students pursuing a degree in wildlife sciences or other closely related fields.These scholarships are available to students who will attend or are already attending accredited colleges and universities. Our hope is that these students will become the next generation of wildlife conservationists.
Requirements:
All recipients must exhibit a commitment to wildlife and the outdoors and participate in school-related responsibilities and activities. Applicants for each of the two high school student scholarships must be Arizona residents and graduating high school seniors with plans to attend an accredited college. All students, both high school and college, must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants for the college student scholarship must be pursuing a degree in and/or closely related to wildlife science from an accredited college or university.

Award:
Everyday Young Heroes are young people, ages 5-25, who are improving their communities through service to others and making significant progress in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Each week, the YSA Team selects one young person to receive this honor. The chosen youth can have a project that is developed in or outside of the classroom, in conjunction with an organization or religious institution, or can be an initiative or organization they started on his or her own or with their friends. Projects can provide a direct service, be philanthropic, or raise awareness or advocacy around a particular community need.
The young person and their nominator are notified via email upon being selected as an Everyday Young Hero. The Hero receives a congratulatory letter, a certificate of recognition, and is highlighted in YSA’s newsletter and on social media, raising the profile of his or her good work.

Award:
Honoring the legacy and character of our nation’s 40th President, the GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program rewards college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with financial assistance to pursue higher education.
Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years – up to $40,000 total per recipient. Awards are for undergraduate study and may be used for education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, and board. In addition, Scholars are invited to participate in a special awards program and receive ongoing leadership-development support.

The Hershey Heartwarming Project Action Grants Program offers up to 500 grants of $250 each to students aged 13-17 across the United States to implement their own “Heartwarming Action Projects” to create connection and make their school or community more inclusive, kind, and empathetic. Grants are distributed on a rolling basis. “You” or “your” as used in these terms refers to the applicant.

A competitive merit award that recognizes the best and brightest students interested in a transformative education at Simmons College. Covers full tuition, mandatory fees, and room and board. $18,500 per year (renewable annually for four years) as long as the recipient remains in good academic standing.

3. Westminster College will award an unlimited number of $74,000 ($18,500/year) scholarships annually to qualified students. The award shall be renewable for a period up to four years provided the recipient remains in good academic standing (minimum 2.0 GPA).

Riley's Way Call for Kindness
Award:
The Call For Kindness is our annual open grant call where high school and college students (ages 13-23) who have an idea to make a difference in the world can get up to $5,000 in seed funding, a year-long professional development Fellowship, and 1:1 project support to help them implement it. Fellows also get full funding to attend an in-person leadership retreat with their cohort of 80-100 other Fellows. Projects can tackle anything from prevailing social justice issues to pressing community-based needs. It can be a new or existing youth-led project. In addition to the General category, 10 of the 40 projects will be focused on Education Equity, and there are other special categories in Dance & the Arts, Interfaith Connections, and A Kinder World to Animals. Applications are open now through March 25, 2024.

West Point: The SLE 2023 Experience

Led by current cadets, Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) is a week-long immersion into the academic, military, and social life of a West Point cadet. At SLE, you will explore West Point from all angles, including our high-tech educational facilities, team-building athletic activities, and realistic military training. The Misty Crabtree Eastham Endowment was established to honor the memory of Misty Crabtree Eastham, a lifelong Girl Scout, and to further her legacy as a woman who made improving the lives of others a priority in her own life. As a girl in foster care who earned her Girl Scout Gold Award, Misty felt that Girl Scouting had a tremendous impact on her life and provided opportunities that she may never have had a chance to pursue. As a young Girl Scout through the completion of her Girl Scout Gold Award to serving as volunteer and mentor for today’s Girl Scouts, Misty overcame adversity to consistently give back and make the world a better place. The Gladys Marion Scholarship was made possible by a lifetime member of Girl Scouts who gave of her time and shared her talents to support Girl Scouts as they develop their leadership skills and prepare to be the next generation of leaders. The scholarship, for high school seniors primarily residing in Brunswick, New Hanover, or Pender County, recognizes those who have demonstrated significant leadership as members of Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines through earning their Girl Scout Gold Award or equivalent participation in Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines leadership programs. The Spirit Scholarship
Award:
The Spirit Scholarship was established by lifetime Girl Scout and highest award recipient, Connie Ehrlich Davis, in memory of her parents, Maxine and O. J. Ehrlich.
During her youth in Wichita, KS, Connie's parents were tireless supporters of her participation in Girl Scouts, recognizing the experience would help her develop confidence and leadership skills. Since the Ehrlich's did not have the opportunity to attend school past 8th grade, they also believed in the importance of further education. They were committed to ensuring Connie had every opportunity to benefit from scouting and an education, both of which served her well throughout her career. It is in the “spirit” of their wisdom that this scholarship will be awarded to girls who demonstrate academic excellence and uphold the highest ideals of Girl Scouting.
The Spirit Scholarship Renewal Process: As long as funds are available, past recipients of The Spirit Scholarship may renew their scholarship for three additional years. The Recipient must submit verification of their enrollment status at an accredited college or university, current grade-point average (minimum 3.1 on a 4.0 scale) annually to the council by July 1.

· Scholarship will be paid upon receipt of acceptance letter to higher education institute.
· Scholarship will be awarded annually to two applicants in the amount of $2,000 (per scholarship).

Barb Mofield Girl Scouts Scholarship
Award:
Presented to a woman who is between her senior year in high school and her senior year in college and who has applied to or is attending a post-secondary institution for at least part-time attendance. This scholarship is only available to a Girl Scout who has completed the INFBPW patch and who has been an Indiana resident for at least one year prior to the date of the application. Preference will be given to a student attending an Indiana school. Reapplication is required each year.

Each application:
Consists of two (2) pages.
Must contain recommendation letters (preferably typed).
Must contain the appropriate essay.
Must include a copy of your latest transcript.
