Taste of Europe: July, 2025 (exact dates TBD)

From hands-on cooking classes to chocolate factories, enjoy the gastronomy of Europe as you tour the sights of four incredible countries: France, Belgium, Italy, and Switzerland—including a stop at Our Chalet WAGGGS World Center. 

About the Trip

Do you love food and culture? Visit four beloved countries with a special focus on the unique food (and chocolate!) of Europe. You’ll tour chocolate factories in Belgium and Switzerland and try your hand at Italian cooking in Milan, plus you’ll get to visit the most iconic places—from Belgium’s La Grand-Place to Paris’s Eiffel Tower and the Louvre.

You’ll experience the fresh air and breathtaking views of the Swiss mountains at Our Chalet, a WAGGGS World Center visited by Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from all over the world.

Through an exploration of food, culture, and natural beauty of these countries, this Destination will inspire you to develop a lifelong love of travel.

Who Should Apply?

• Age: Girl Scouts entering grades 9–12.
• Interests: Food, culture
• Requirements: You must enjoy food, have the ability to lean into new experiences, work as part of a team, and be able to spend your days touring cities in hot weather.
• Equipment: A packing list will be provided after acceptance.
• Ignite Your Passion! This trip is great for Girl Scouts who want to embrace new cultures and foods.

The Cost

Program fee: $5,700

The program fee includes airfare from Atlanta, Georgia to and from Europe. You will be responsible for the cost of round-trip transportation to and from Atlanta, Georgia.

Deposit due upon acceptance (this deposit is already included in your trip program fee): $300
