Capitals of the British Isles and Disneyland Paris: June 25–July 8, 2025

Experience the Old World and modern culture of four capital cities in this fast-paced journey through Ireland, Scotland, England, and France— capped off with some Disney fun!

About the Trip

Real world history and fantasy collide as we fly, ferry, and ride buses and trains through four European capital cities, culminating in a visit to Disneyland Paris. You will see the best each city has to offer, with a focus on some great meals, so we can taste the individual cultures for ourselves.

Our local guides will lead us on a journey through many cultures while learning how ancient history and the modern world exist together through architecture, art, charm, and beauty. We start by exploring Dublin’s literary history, with a visit to Trinity College, home to the Book of Kells—which dates from about the year 800 and where such literary greats as playwright Samuel Beckett and satirist Jonathan Swift were students. We’ll explore the political history of Northern Ireland and see where the infamous ship the Titanic was built in Belfast. While in Scotland, we’ll stop at the Scottish poet Robert Burns Birthplace Museum on our way to Edinburgh, where we visit Edinburgh Castle, which proudly stands over the city, and we experience a Scottish ceilidh (traditional dance).

Once in London, we take in the city’s iconic sights like London Bridge and the Houses of Parliament, visit Windsor Castle, sail down the River Thames, and ride The London Eye high above the British capital. Our final stop is Paris, where we see such sights as the Eiffel Tower, and visit the Louvre—home to the famous painting Mona Lisa, and thrill to the rides and attractions at Disneyland Paris.
