About the Trip
If you are a high school Girl Scout who wants to change the world, then the Global Leadership Conference is for you! What issues are you passionate about? If you care about climate change, mental health, LGBTQ+ issues, art, STEM, social justice, ending human trafficking, combating the global gender gap, or other important issues, you can find inspiration here!
With over 60 workshop opportunities to choose from in one weekend, you’ll connect with awe-inspiring women who will share their work in fields that are helping to make the world a better place. You’ll also connect with fellow Girl scouts from all over the East Coast and beyond. International exchange students also participate to bring a global perspective to the issues.
Spend Thursday afternoon through Friday morning exploring Boston before traveling to Newport, RI for the conference. Experience college dorm life as you learn about college and careers. You’ll eat at the dining hall, get a full campus tour, and experience an exciting Saturday night program inside a beautiful mansion located on campus!
The Global Leadership Conference is a beloved event that has been helping Girl Scouts in New England explore future careers and social issues for 37 years— now open for the first time to Girl Scouts from across the Movement.
