Trane

Girl Scouts of the USA is pleased to announce a new relationship with Trane, a global provider of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, to educate girls on energy awareness and conservation in buildings. A wholly owned subsidiary of Ingersoll Rand, Trane strives to be an environmentally responsible business, neighbor and employer. The business employs more than 20,000 employees in 50(+) countries and its international headquarters are located in Piscataway, N.J.

This partnership that will result in:

  • A joint national energy awareness and conservation program for buildings as part of, or in support of, the second series of Girl Scout leadership journeys (It's Your Planet-Love It!) which focus on the environment and STEM.
  • A national employee engagement initiative that will use the enthusiasm and expertise of Trane employees to enrich the learning experience for girls.
