Admission
The ticket sales desk is located at the street level entrance of the Birthplace on Oglethorpe Avenue. Guided tours for guests—provided on a first-come, first-served basis—begin approximately every 15 minutes, depending on the number of reserved tours scheduled. Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more.
Girl Scout Heritage Visit
- Reservation fee: $25 (non-refundable) per troop (This is a one-time flat fee. If a group changes the date or program, another fee will not be charged.)
- Full-day program (Junior, Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts): $22 (non-refundable) per participant, due three months prior to the visit.
- Victorian Supper Savannah Style (Senior Girl Scouts): $22 per participant
Tours for Individuals and Families (reservation not required)
- Adults (ages 21 and older), $8
- Registered Girl Scout adults, $7
- Registered Girl Scouts, children and students (ages 5-20), $7
- Family (up to 2 adults and 4 children), $25

Reserved Group Tours
Special programs and tours are offered by reservation for school, church, club and bus groups. Inquire for rates.
Pioneers in Preservation Tour
This tour offers visits to three historic Savannah houses: the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace, Savannah's First National Historic Landmark, home of the Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low and the first house opened as a historic house museum in Savannah; the Isaiah Davenport House, saved from demolition by seven women who founded the Historic Savannah Foundation; and the Andrew Low House, purchased from Juliette Low's nephew and preserved by the Colonial Dames of Georgia. Juliette Gordon Low died at the Andrew Low House in 1927. The three-tour pass is $18.

Reservations
The Birthplace is currently taking reservations for 2006-2008 (2009 reservations will be accepted beginning October 1, 2007). Weekends, spring break, and June dates tend to fill up quickly. Fall and winter dates require less advance notice. Call to inquire about the earliest date convenient for your troop or group and before making travel, accommodations, or activity reservations.

Call 18-20 months in advance for June, Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend, President's Day weekend, and Memorial Day weekend.
- Call 12-18 months in advance for July, August, spring break (especially the weeks before and after Easter), weekends January through May, the last week in March, the last week in May, and Labor Day weekend.
- Call 3-12 months in advance for weekends September through December, the last week in August, weekdays September through mid-March.
- Call for reservations under 3 months if you have a very small troop or to see if you can take advantage of late cancellations.

Before Your Visit
- E-mail us at birthplace@girlscouts.org to receive the Birthplace Bound Girl Scout troop PDF. It contains detailed information on the Birthplace and the city of Savannah to help as you plan your troop/group's trip. For reservation inquiries, include number of participants, age level, three targeted weeks for travel, your name, phone number and address.
- Call the Birthplace one month prior to your scheduled visit to reconfirm all your reservations and plans. We will mail your tickets to you.
- Check the Savannah weather forecast for your trip dates.
Directions
Airplane
Savannah International Airport is approximately 20 miles from the Birthplace. Transportation is available by taxi or limousine.
Train
The Savannah train station is approximately 10 miles away in a remote area. Transportation to the Birthplace must be pre-arranged by taxi or limousine.
Automobile
Take Interstate 16 east to Savannah. Do not exit. Follow the I-16 ramp onto Montgomery Street. Get into the right lane and proceed to the second light. Turn right at Oglethorpe Avenue. The Birthplace is four blocks east on the corner of Bull Street and Oglethorpe Avenue.
Public Transportation
Travel around the Savannah area by bus or shuttle.
For bus information, contact Chatham Area Transit, (912) 233-5767. The closest bus stop is located across from Bull Street on Oglethorpe Avenue.
The downtown shuttle stops directly in front of the Birthplace on Bull Street.
