Girl Scout Funds

When you give to Girl Scouts, you have the option of choosing to donate to specific funds that generate opportunities for girls in different ways. Following is a list of the established Girl Scout funds that you can contribute to through our Annual Giving Campaign:

GSUSA General Operating Fund provides new resources and opportunities wherever they are most needed to help girls nationwide.

destinations Fund (formerly Wider Opportunities Fund) supports traveling opportunities for girls and enables them to participate in special program events across the country. Read more about STUDIO 2B destinations and see what opportunities are opening up for girls everywhere.

Juliette Low World Friendship Fund sustains international travel opportunities for U.S. Girl Scouts and Girl Guides/Girl Scouts in 143 other nations, while also supporting financial assistance and training to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and other Girl Guide/Girl Scout organizations. 21st Century Endowment ensures the legacy of Girl Scouting in offering innovative programs that support and extend the Girl Scout Movement.

The Girl Scouts Beyond Bars Fund supports the Girl Scouts Beyond Bars program, which provides the opportunity for girls and their incarcerated mothers to maintain, nurture and strengthen their mother-daughter bond in a supportive Girl Scout troop setting.

Edith Macy Conference Center Adult Training Scholarship Endowment provides training opportunities for adults, volunteers, and staff, which reflect in their leadership of the Girl Scout Movement and allows them to better serve every girl, everywhere. GSUSA Overseas Adult Training Scholarship Fund provides training opportunities for adults serving United States girls who are overseas.

Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Preservation Endowment is a special fund that provides for future capital needs of the Birthplace. Donors who give $50 or more to this fund are entitled to an annual membership in the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Circle of Friends.
