What Girls Say

What Girls Say brings to the fore the voices, concerns and opinions of girls and only girls on various topics and issues.

What Girls Say is based on the results of surveys completed by a panel of girls ages 8 to 17 of diverse backgrounds from over 1,300 households across the nation. Different subsets of girls from these households responded to a number of surveys this year developed by the GSRI, in conjunction with SmartyPants, a youth market research firm.

The findings reveal girls' concerns and opinions about various topics such as relationships, health, politics, gender and race equality, body image, activism, diversity and the environment.
