It is the second in a series of research reviews produced by the Girl Scout Research Institute. This publication covers a wide range of issues with a focus on girls and youth, including demographic trends, education, health, technology and new media, violence and juvenile justice, and directions in youth volunteerism. Snapshots gives summaries of major studies, their implications, and resources providing further information for stakeholders in the lives of girls and youth.
