Journeys
Journeys have officially retired as of October 1, 2026.
For many years, Girl Scout Journeys provided hands-on experiences designed for Junior through Ambassador Girl Scouts to explore their interests, develop life skills, and lead Take Action projects that created lasting impact in their communities. Completing a Journey also served as a pathway toward earning the Bronze Silver, and Gold Awards, the highest honors in Girl Scouting.
Introducing New Leadership Awards
Today, Girl Scouts can continue their leadership development by participating in the newly Leadership Awards for Juniors through Ambassadors! These new awards celebrate all the ways girls lead—themselves, their teams, and their communities. With flexible options, real-world skill-building, and no pressure to lead a certain way, these awards help Girl Scouts grow confidence, explore their leadership style, and make an impact on their own terms. Each award is represented by a beautiful new pin that captures the spirit of an awardee’s leadership exploration path.
