Los Angeles, Calif.Grupo Gallegos, an independently owned, full-service communications agency, has been named the Hispanic advertising agency of record by Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA), the world's preeminent leadership development organization for girls.

More than 59 million American women enjoyed Girl Scouting during their childhood—and that number is growing as Girl Scouts continues to inspire, challenge, and empower girls everywhere. Currently, more than 270,000 Hispanic girls--nearly six percent of the national total—are members of Girl Scouts.

Grupo Gallegos will work with the Girl Scouts of the USA to increase awareness, build trust in the community and ultimately recruit Latinas into the Girl Scouting Movement from among the Hispanic populations in its key opportunity markets. The markets include California, Texas, Florida, New York/New Jersey, and Illinois.
