An unforgettable canoe journey through the heart of Alaska.

For those who love true adventure, this is the program to attend. Come discover the wild frontiers and gold rush territory of Alaska from the seat of a kayak and then learn to ice climb on a glacier.

Picture It

Come join 12 other Girl Scouts for an unforgettable journey into Alaska. After landing in Anchorage, we’ll transport ourselves to our kayak launch site. Learn the basics of kayak safety, then set off for several days of glacier exploration, waterfall discovery, and iceberg dodging all while witnessing some of the most beautiful terrain on earth. There will definitely be some bald eagles along the way and maybe a bear or two. After completing our water days, we’ll spend a day walking on glaciers and learning to ice climb followed by a final day of ziplining over the arctic terrain. This once in a lifetime experience will truly inspire you to seek out future adventures in the natural world.
