Want to know more?

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) has been described as the world’s greatest canoe country. This park of lakes, streams, and rocky forest is over one million acres in size, and has a rich legacy of Native Americans, French Voyageurs, loggers, and now modern wilderness travelers. Girl Scout travelers take only photos and memories, and leave only footprints behind in this exceptional wilderness area.

“I believed in myself more than I did before because I learned and tried new things. I never went on this kind of trip before.” – Past Canoe Trip participant

“The people were really fun and the food was awesome.” – Past Canoe Trip participant

“If only every girl in the world could do this…the world would be chock full of strong, proud, confident women…who can ask for better?” – Past Canoe Trip adult participant
