Chicago is an exciting visit full of adventure. You'll explore beautiful Lincoln Park and the beaches of Lake Michigan by bike or laugh the night away during a classic Chicago improv comedy show. Walk through historic and vibrant Chinatown with an expert guide to learn about the history of Chinese immigration to the USA and sample the cuisine at a local restaurant. At the hostel you will meet travelers from around the world. You will also learn to navigate public transportation on the CTA and use it for all of your adventures. Get It You’ll get a detailed itinerary, packing suggestions, and information about the hostel when you contact the event sponsor. $ It $143.00 - $148.00 per participant Two overnights with breakfast at the Chicago hostel, bike hike or improv comedy show, Chinatown tour and lunch, and a 3-day transit pass. Group size between 10 and 25 people. You are responsible for round-trip transportation to and from Chicago, Illinois. Additional overnights can be added for $42 per person, tax and breakfast included. Getaway pricing and activities subject to change after March 31, 2014; some pricing changes may be out of the hostel’s control during the year, for example the Chicago Transit Authority rates may go up. Note: Adult Leaders/Advisors must accompany girls. You don't have to complete the Girl Scout destinations application form for this event. Just contact the project manager for a registration form and GO!! Remember to notify your council that you are traveling on a getaway.
