Leadership and Learning

Advancing the Highest Awards Learning Conference
This three day learning conference will focus on building capacity to support girls in earning their Bronze, Silver and/or Gold awards. The conference will offer two learning tracks including:

  1. Highest Awards Fundamentals for those staff and volunteers relatively new to the highest awards process;
  2. Highest Awards Executives for staff and volunteers who have been working with the highest awards for at least two membership years.

Both tracks will feature workshops on how to effectively support girls in the process and how to educate volunteers and parents about the highest awards. This will include the debut release of the Gold Award Web App.

Topics will be focused on the girl-led process, recognitions, training, and volunteer recruitment and re-engagement. Participants will leave the conference with tools and resources to support and measure girls' successes in earning the highest awards, and establish a community of practice.

Who Should Attend
Council staff and volunteers who are supporting girls to earn their Bronze, Silver and/or Gold Awards.
