Alumnae Story
The Greatest of Friends

What wonderful memory do I share with you? Tough, but I believe the best was on a camping trip to Camp Shantituck in Kentucky, 1971. We saw a snake on our hike and took watch over it, only to find that this snake wasn't so alive anymore! Of course you would have to be there, we were so brave and tough!

The swinging bridge was also a hike not to be forgotten. Yelling for each scared Girl Scout to start walking over it! Calling from the other side, coaxing each other on!

But the best outcome of Scouting for me is my very best and dearest friend Kim. At 44 years old we are still the greatest of friends! You can't buy that!
