In the Boundary Waters, Echoes Off the Canyon Walls

As a Senior Girl Scout in 1956, our troop went on a two-week canoe trip (no guides/just our maps and compasses) to the Indian Boundary Waters of Canada.

On Sunday morning, we were paddling through a canyon while singing songs as part of our Scouts' Own. The voices kept echoing off the canyon walls.
